Selfless Life is a residential in-home care agency servicing clients throughout the state of
Maryland. A residential service agency is a licensed provider that employs individuals who provide at
least one home health care service. Examples of home health care services include personal care such as
bathing, grooming, and dressing; companion care; eating and meal preparation; light housekeeping; errand services; and medication assistance. Most of these services are aimed at individuals who are sick,
disabled, elderly, or those recovering from temporary ailments.
The purpose of Selfless Life is to provide presence and peace of mind to our clients and their families. We value excellence, communication, and consistency. It is our complete pleasure to serve each client selflessly and provide service that impacts the healthcare system for the better.
Selfless Life was founded by two passionate health care professionals with combined experience of over twenty years. While working together in an acute urgent setting, they noticed how quickly people were being discharged yet how families were busier. This left a gap in the home care setting for most people, especially older adults, who needed help with basic daily activities to maintain their independence and a high quality of life.
The name “Selfless Life” is a representation of serving each client selflessly; we treat every client like they have lived a “selfless life”, and it is our pleasure to serve them as such). When we serve our clients, it’s as if we’re serving the most selfless person that we know.
